Growing up, I always loved being out in nature, walking in the woods and walking in fields by our house. My appreciation for growing my own vegetables took place when we had our own property. The satisfaction of growing a vegetable from seed, seeing its growth and then picking it straight out of the garden. However, it was a life-altering event that truly set me on a path toward embracing veganism.
Five and a half years ago, my mom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Determined to change this diagnosis, we researched and explored various dietary approaches. During this time, I stumbled upon the tremendous benefits of a whole food plant-based lifestyle.
Unfortunately, my mom’s cancer was untreatable yet I was driven by a desire to change the way our family ate and provide us with optimal nutrition. The transformative power of whole plant-based foods astounded me as I experienced increased energy, improved digestion, and a newfound sense of vitality. Witnessing its positive impact on my health, I became passionate about sharing this knowledge with others.
Motivated by the belief that everyone should have access to nutritious and delicious meals, I resolved to make eating healthy easier for individuals from all walks of life. By creating innovative recipes and promoting the benefits of plant-based eating, I aimed to break down barriers and inspire others to embrace a whole food plant-based lifestyle. I wanted to demonstrate that nourishing oneself with wholesome, plant-powered ingredients supports personal well-being and contributes to our planet's well-being.
Through my work, I hope to empower others to make informed dietary choices, encouraging them to embrace the abundance and beauty of plant-based foods .
